Updated 10/21/2011: Puka and Maui have been adopted, but many other dogs still need loving homes! Check out our previous dogs of the week.
Puka, a black and brown male puppy, and Maui, a fawn and white female, are a pair of 2-month-old short-haired shepherd mix puppies.
Puka is a sweet and playful puppy who loves to roll around in the grass. Maui is very loving and enjoys cuddling and lounging around.
Their mother is a short-haired shepherd mix that weighs about 35 pounds, and their father is a small to medium mix of some type. The puppies came from a litter of nine. Seven of their siblings were given away.
Both puppies are crate-trained, house-trained and learning to walk on a leash. They're current on their vaccinations, and they have been dewormed and treated for fleas.
Because they're puppies, they can easily adjust to any situation.
