Easy Reader Spotlights Patch Columnist

Redondo Beach resident Katharine Blossom Lowrie, who authored the Granny Blossom Chronicles—later changed to the Blossom Chronicles—on both Redondo Beach Patch and Palos Verdes Patch, was featured in the latest issue of the Easy Reader.

Penelope Pan, Lowrie's latest book, is a satirical novel that ventures into the erotica genre, according to the Easy Reader.

“This book is about writers and the places our minds go when they’re not edited or told to stop,” Lowrie told reporter Rachel Reeves. “I’ve always been a creature of my imagination, which has always been very fertile.”

As a Patch columnist, Lowrie wrote about interesting people around Redondo Beach, as well as local businesses and anything else that happened to catch her eye.
