Video: http://youtu.be/12FBhM_ALE8

A beautiful tune written by the Rev. Dennis Kamakahi likening the white clouds of Moloka`i to a woman. Performed by musical duo HAPA and featuring twins Ku`upua Jung and Ku`ulei Jung at the 2012 Los Angeles Showcase

Chorus:
Pua kalaunu ma ke kai `o Honouliwai
Wahine `ilikea i ka poli `o Moloka`i
Nö ka heke

Crown flower by the shore of Honouliwai
Fair skinned woman in the bosom of Moloka`i is the best

The Rev Kamakahi is one of the most prolific songwriters alive in Hawai'i today; his songs have been covered by countless artists through the years, "Wähine `Ilikea" a standard in any performing musician's repertoire.
