At My Escuelita: Spanish for Kids, I use many many of Eric Carle's books to teach Spanish to children. Children can easily make connections with stories they're familiar with which helps with comprehension. www.spanishplayground.net is a wonderful resource for parents and children. They provide almost daily Spanish lessons and activities that can easily be implemented at home!
I use this book over and over...all year long...because it can be used in so many ways to teach young children Spanish! Cute ideas here!
