Questions for CenterCal: Harbor or Mall?

CenterCal claims to be designing a "lifestyle center" that augments our harbor and waterfront.  If that is so, we deserve some answers to the following questions:

1) Since the Seaside Lagoon and its beach have shrunk so much, how will you ensure an open path on the beach and the water for paddlers and kayakers?

2)  Have you tested the harbor water to ensure it is safe to swim in once opened up to the harbor?

3)  How many people will you allow at the smaller beach and Seaside Lagoon at a time and since there appears to be no fence, how will you control it?

4) What happened to the dinghy dock?  How will visiting boaters get to shore from harbor moorings?

5) How low is the bridge from the pier?

6) Where do boaters whose slips are in Mole 3 park?  How do they get from their cars to their boats?  It looks like they have to park in a parking structure, cross a road, walk through the mall and then get to their slip.

7) How do the commercial boats load and offload their gear and their catch?

This was built with taxpayer money to be a harbor, but the CenterCal Plan focuses more on national chain shops and restaurants than making sure the harbor is usable for boating and water recreation.
