Blog: Elect Jim Light to Redondo Beach City Council

I have known Jim Light for over ten years...since my first term on the Redondo Beach Public Works Commission.  He has worked tirelessly protecting residents like me from over-development, traffic gridlock, and urban blight which our city government/chamber of commerce has attempted to foster on us through "Heart of the City", large condo projects, new power plant, etc.

Jim is intelligent, considerate, energetic and committed to helping homeowners and residents in Redondo Beach.  He is a successful business executive who still finds time to devote countless hours to the community with no compensation.  As someone who has lived here for 30 years I appreciate it and will support Jim Lights campaign in any way I can.

He has gained the support of the other two candidates not in the runoff...and his opponent...Mr. Ginsburg...seems to have as his only qualification.. being "Laurel" to Mr. Aspel's "Hardy".  City goverment has enough comic characters
