Police will be conducting a follow-up investigation to Wednesday's fatal crash on Aviation Boulevard.

Aviation Boulevard between Artesia and Manhattan Beach boulevards will be closed Tuesday from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m., according to a news release from the Redondo Beach Police Department.

RBPD officers will be completing time-sensitive follow-up investigative work related to last Wednesday's fatal traffic collision, which occurred in the 3300 block of Aviation Boulevard on the Redondo Beach side of the street, RBPD Sgt. Jeff Mendence wrote in the news release.

"Aviation (Boulevard) will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic," Mendence wrote. "Delays should be expected and motorists are asked to avoid this area during the road closure."
