Street robbery in The Village

Someone in The Village was the victim of a street robbery Sunday evening, according to police. A man assaulted the victim, demanded property and wrenched away the victim's iPhone and keys. No description of the culprit was provided.

Commercial burglary in Redondo Beach

Police arrested a juvenile who entered an open business in the South Bay Galleria and removed merchandise without paying. No loss was reported; the items were recovered.

Residential burglaries in Redondo Beach

Between Aug. 30 and Friday, someone somehow entered a home in the 2200 block of Margaret Court and moved items around inside the residence. Police don't know if anything was taken.

A Sony television, two stereos and a DVD player were stolen from a home in the 2300 block of Pullman Lane between Aug. 28-29.

Residential burglary in the Hollywood Riviera

Someone pried open the door of a home in the 300 block of Paseo de Gracia during the afternoon of Aug. 24. The burglar ransacked the home and stole a laptop and jewelry.

Vehicle burglaries in Redondo Beach

Between Sunday night and Monday morning, someone punched out the lock on the driver's door on a 2008 GMC Yukon parked in the 2000 block of Nelson Avenue. No loss was reported; police classified the incident as an attempted burglary.

A diaper bag and paperwork were stolen from a 1997 Honda Civic parked at the South Bay Galleria on Saturday afternoon. Police believe the thief may have slipped the car's lock.

On Thursday evening, a burglar smashed the passenger window of a 2012 Mercedes Benz C250 parked in the 1900 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard and stole a purse containing a wallet, iPad and iPhone, as well as clothes and a workout bag.

Vehicle burglary in the Hollywood Riviera

During the evening of Aug. 29, cash was stolen from a possibly unlocked vehicle parked in the 100 block of Via Pasqual.

Vehicles stolen in Redondo Beach

Officers with the El Segundo Police Department on Friday recovered a 1992 Ford Superwagon stolen from the 600 block of North Catalina Avenue between the afternoon of Aug. 29 and Friday morning.

A green 1961 Volkswagon Bug, license plate No. 039NPJ, was stolen between Aug. 28-29 from the intersection of Inglewood and Grant avenues.
