By law, sex offenders are required to register with authorities. Even before they do, however, their information appears in the sex offender registry, which is public record, meaning you can get information about the sex offenders in any specific area nationwide—including Redondo Beach.
The California Attorney General's Megan's Law website provides a list of all registered sex offenders in California. The same data is also available on CrimeReports.com in map form.
In Redondo Beach, there are 31 sex offenders who have registered with addresses within the city limits. Two—Guy Dietz, last registered at 18513 Grevillea Ave. in North Redondo Beach, and Albert Phillip Morris, last registered at 1511 S. Catalina Ave. in South Redondo Beach—are in violation of their registration requirements, according to California's Megan's Law website. Those with knowledge of Dietz's or Morris' whereabouts are asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
Even in places outside local police departments' jurisdictions, the websites have mapped the addresses, names and photos of sex offenders in our country.
The addresses of registered sex offenders are marked on the CrimeReports.com map with red triangles. Orange triangles symbolize two sex offenders living at one address. Click on the triangles to see details on the offenders.
