Male Shoplifter Goes for the Handbags

At 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26, a business in the 1800 block of Hawthorne Boulevard reported a shoplifter. Stolen were four Calvin Klein handbags and one Calvin Klein cross-body bags. The suspect was described as man about 6 feet tall, weighing about 260 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Between 8:05-11 p.m. Feb. 27, someone broke into a locked 2006 Chevrolet Impala parked in the 1900 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard by smashing a rear passenger window. Stolen were three purses, two wallets, an iPod and keys.These are selected reports from the Redondo Beach Police Department throughout the past few weeks.
