The men who stole two pairs of Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers on June 9 drove away in a silver BMW 3-series made in the 1990s, according to a note in the Part 1 Recap of crimes published this week by the .
According to police, the two men held the victims at gunpoint and with physical force outside a home in North Redondo Beach. The two victims had just returned from the Westfield mall in Culver City, where they had purchased the limited-edition sneakers designed by Kanye West.

In the Part 1 Recap, police described one of the thieves as a 25-year-old black man standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. The second thief was described as a 25-year-old black man standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds.
A third person served as the getaway driver; however, police did not release a description.
The Air Yeezy 2 sneakers, which retail for $245, are currently selling for more than $1,750 on eBay. A pre-ordered pair sold on the auction site for more than $90,000 earlier this month.
