Redondo Beach Thieves Steal a Veritable Party

Redondo Beach police blotter.

Between 2-5:30 a.m. Feb. 4, a thief made off with a party – if your idea of a party is a lot of alcohol and smokes. Stolen from a house’s garage in the 400 block of Avenue E were 36 bottles of beer (not sure if they were on the wall), a cigar humidor, two tobacco pipes, a lighter, two empty kegs (no party there), brewing tools, an aquarium heat lamp and a storage case.

Between midnight and 5:45 a.m. March 3, a thief broke into a 2014 Chevy Volt parked in the 1300 block of S. Gertruda and sneaked away with a surfer’s and techie’s delight. Stolen were two surfboards, two wetsuits, four sets of surf fins, an iPad, a computer monitor converter, a wireless router and prescription sunglasses.

Between 7:30-8:30 a.m. March 8, someone broke into an underground garage in the 300 block of S. Prospect and stole a Nirve bicycle. The suspect was described as a male, 5-foot-9, weighing 175 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
