Registered Sex Offender Pleads No Contest to Lewd Act with Two Teens

The judge immediately sentenced Hugo Galindo Gonzalez, 27, of Harbor City, to three years and eight months in state prison.

A registered sex offender pleaded no contest today to a pair of felony lewd act charges involving two teenage girls he met online and then again in person in Redondo Beach.

Superior Court Judge Thomas Sokolov immediately sentenced Hugo Galindo Gonzalez, 27, of Harbor City, to three years and eight months in state prison and ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Gonzalez was already registered as a sex offender as a result of a 2011 conviction in federal court, according to the District Attorney's Office. That case involved sex with a 14-year-old Palos Verdes Estates girl he met on Myspace.
