Thief Drives SUV a Bit Before Making off with Nautical Items

Between March 2 and March 3, someone broke into a 1995 Ford Explorer in the 600 block of S. Irena Avenue and drove it a short distance before stealing items from the SUV. According to the report, after parking the Explore, the thief took credit cards, boat keys, a sailing bag and a Marine GPS. The owner initially reported the vehicle stolen.

Between March 4 and March 5, someone stole a 2002 Ford 350 pickup in the 2500 block of 160th Street.

Between March 6 and March 7, someone broke into a 2006 Dodge Ram pickup parked in the 500 block of Pruitt using a Slim Jim-type lock slip. Stolen were cash and credit cards. The wallet and the owner’s driver’s license were found nearby.
