Peggy Goldberg's friends and neighbors said that Russell Goldberg had previously threatened his ex-wife.

“We had all been telling Peggy that he was dangerous, and she believed he was dangerous, too,” said Shari Twidwell.

Dozens of people gathered outside Peggy Goldberg's home several days later to remember her with a candlelight vigil.
