"John Perez Wins A Battle Against Torie Osborn, But Loses The War For 2/3rds" "With 100% of precincts reporting,Muratsuchi garnered 22,000 votes while his Republican opponents Huey and Nathan Mintz combined received nearly 33,000 votes. Mintz will certainly endorse Huey, so expect Republican voters to fall in line for the general election. That's a hell of an enthusiasm gap to overcome." http://www.calitics.com/diary/14391/john-perez-wins-a-battle-against-torie-osborn-but-loses-the-war-for-23rds
The statistics of this election are highly relevant to anyone who knows how to read them. I predicted a voter turnout for AD66 within a very narrow two point range. I also predicted that Mintz wouldn't pick up more than 40% of the Republican vote (he picked up 35%). In the aggregate human behavior is highly predictable and politics is no exception. Even if the Presidential election of 2012 becomes a repeat of 2008, which it won't, Huey still wins in November. After the Registrar of Voters certifies the election results I'll purchase the voter history file and then I'll post a detailed Demographic analysis of the results of this election on my website here -> Kordemographics.com
