Planning Commission Meeting, Great California ShakeOut

Here are some things to look forward to today in Redondo Beach.

Happy Thursday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know today:

1. The Redondo Beach Planning Commission is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 415 Diamond St. Click here to view the agenda.

2. As part of the Great California ShakeOut, there will be an expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wal-Mart in Torrance, at 19503 Normandie Ave., to educate local residents about preparing for a disaster. Various locations around the South Bay will be participating in the drill as well. For more information, visit the website online.

3. There will be a "PajamaTime Storytime" for all ages at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday in the Children's Library at the Redondo Beach Main Library located at 303 North Pacific Coast Highway. For more information, call (310)318-0675, ext. 6.
