Redondo Beach Names New Finance Director
Craig Koehler will replace Diana Moreno as the director of finance for Redondo Beach.
The city of Redondo Beach has a new director of finance, City Manager Bill Workman announced Monday.
Craig Koehler, currently the interim finance director for the city of El Monte, will fill the director of finance position vacated by Diana Moreno.
"Craig brings a broad breath of financial experience that can be immediately applied here in Redondo Beach," Workman said in a news release.
A resident of Seal Beach, Koehler has more than 30 years of accounting and finance experience at local government and private sector levels. He has worked for the Southern California Gas Company, Southern California Public Power Association and the Jurupa Community Services District.
Koehler received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from California State University Long Beach. He has also earned certification in advanced governmental accounting, according to the news release.
