Redondo Beach Parking Meter Permits Available for Purchase

Current parking meter permits expire Thursday.

Time is running out for Redondo Beach parking meter permit holders to get a new parking permit before the old one expires.

The parking meter permit stickers for 2012-2013, which allow the driver to park free at any meter in the city for free, expire Thursday. The new ones will expire Oct. 1, 2014.

Parking meter permits for the general public cost $110. Permits must be purchased in-person at Door E of Redondo Beach City Hall, located at 415 Diamond St. in South Redondo Beach. Permits will only be sold from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Permits can only be purchased for vehicles registered in California.

Current parking meter rates are $1.25 per hour throughout the city, with the exception of the triangle parking area in Riviera Village. Meter rates in that area are 75 cents per hour.
