Redondo Hires New Human Resources Director
Kym Vieira is the new director of human resources for the city of Redondo Beach.
The city of Redondo Beach has a new human resources director, according to a news release from City Manager Bill Workman's office.
Kym Vieira, who previously held human resources leadership roles in Stanislaus County government, will be responsible for personnel, labor relations, training and risk management, according to the release.
"Kym joins Redondo Beach at an important time and has an impressive background as a human resources professional that will serve the organization and community well," Workman said in the statement.
Vieira received both her master's degree in Public Administration and bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Stanislaus.
