$140,000 in 1995 I don't think so

I've been a resident for 15 years. Posts like this make me so sad because when I moved here I dreamed of owning a simple house in a place I loved so much. Yesterday, I bought a house in the St. Louis area for less than the 1995 price of this house. I will be leaving my beloved beach community because I cannot afford to live here any longer. :(
