Come join the fun and hear stories shared from the book “The Blue Zones” and participate in a discussion about the book. The stories will show kids and their parents just how easy it is to eat the right foods and make moving naturally an everyday part of life this summer.
Then learn how the Beach Cities is on a quest to become the world's first Blue Zones Community and find out how you can do your part to make this happen.

Blue Zones Project™ by Healthways, presented by the Beach Cities Health District, is recommending the community-wide reading of Dan Buettner’s “The Blue Zones” to unite the community in an understanding of what the Blue Zones of the world are and how residents can apply these principles to their everyday life to improve health and well-being.
