Though it's still summer, the first day of school is just around the corner for Redondo Beach students.
The first day of school for all schools in is scheduled for Aug. 28. Here are some other important back-to-school dates at local schools. (This information is provided as a courtesy. Because some of the information below is subject to change, please double-check with the school before finalizing your plans.)

- 11th-grade registration: Aug. 15, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Sea Hawk Pavilion (large gym)
- 12th-grade registration: Aug. 15, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Sea Hawk Pavilion
- 10th-grade registration: Aug. 16, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Sea Hawk Pavilion
- Ninth-grade registration: Aug. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Sea Hawk Pavilion
