RU 14 – Palos Verdes 24
The Hawks battled a tough Palos Verdes team yesterday afternoon, but ended up just short. We held a lead for a good part of the game, but PV was able to convert in the 4th quarter. Our defense played very physical, earning all 5 of our defensive goals, and held the Sea Kings for a good portion of the game. Our offense stalled some in the second half, which allowed the PV offense to stay on the field and slowly work away at the defense. Overall, our boys played hard and proved they can compete with the best in our section. Thank you to our Week #9 Super Sea Hawk Jimmy Faecher for providing great enthusiasm and emotion all week.

Mira Costa week is now upon us! “You could go 1-9 in your season, but if that win is vs. the Mustangs, it’s a great year.” That’s the kind of importance this game has to Sea Hawks. To add to the excitement, we are releasing the new perpetual trophy made by Spyder Surfboards. The winner of the “Battle at the Beach” will earn the right to displaying the Surfboard at their school for the whole year.
We want that board here at RU!
