A Craft Beer Drinker's Guide to the South Bay Revisited

An interactive map to craft beer in the South Bay of Los Angeles and a look at what is happening on the South Bay's exploding craft beer scene.

In May, this South Bay Brews News column debuted an interactive map to all things craft beer in the South Bay of Los Angeles. However, with our switch to the new and improved Patch web design, the map disappeared. Today, we are happy to relaunch the map for your craft beer drinking pleasure.

It is becoming less and less of a secret these days that the South Bay is a hot spot for the growing craft beer movement in Los Angeles and across the country.

With so much choice, Patch has made your next beer drinking expedition a little easier with an interactive map showing all the popular breweries, restaurants, bars and stores that pay special attention to craft beer.

Here is how the map breaks down.
  • RED = Beer Bar or Restaurant
  • GREEN = Brewery
  • PURPLE = Beer Store
  • YELLOW = Homebrew Supply Store

In building the map, we highlighted establishments that pay particular attention to serving craft beer with a range of draft and bottled beers along with venues that host craft beer events.

Find out what's happening in Redondo Beachwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

While we worked hard to include as many venues as possible, we may have missed some along the way so let us know in the comments your favorite craft beer venue and we will add it to the map.

While you are at it, check out what is happening at some of these establishments this week (June 13-20):
