7th Annual Dolphin Dash for the Redondo Library

Sponsor a Dolphin in the 2012 Dolphin Dash and help the Redondo Library

The Redondo Beach Library Foundation holds its seventh annual Dolphin Dash fundraiser as part of the Redondo Beach Pier Association’s Annual Chalk Art Festival

Redondo Beach, CA – This year’s Dolphin Dash takes place on August 18, 2012 as part of the Redondo Pier’s Annual Chalk Art Festival.  Now is the time to purchase a Dolphin Dash Certificate to sponsor your dolphin’s speedy swim to shore from the Horseshoe Pier and to support a great cause.

Visit either location of the Redondo Beach Public Library to purchase your $10.00 Dolphin Dash certificates at the library check-out desks or the day of the Dolphin Dash on the Pier.  Your Dolphin will then be entered into the Dash.  All certificate purchases are tax-deductible.  The Library Foundation offers a special company-sponsored dolphin category at $100.00 per sponsorship for local businesses and corporations wishing to participate in the Dolphin Dash. Winners will be announced in both categories.  For the individual sponsorships there will be fifteen winners of South Bay Galleria gift cards and for the company-sponsored dolphin winner the top award is community recognition and a trophy presented by the Redondo Beach Mayor and City Council at a future Redondo Beach City Council Meeting.

Get your certificates now and plan to attend the Chalk Art Festival and Dolphin Dash on August 18, 2012.  The Dolphin Dash will take place at approximately 4:30pm (tide willing) inside the horseshoe pier at the Redondo Beach Pier, 100 Fisherman’s Wharf, Redondo Beach, CA  90277.

Dolphin Certificates are available for purchase at the Redondo Beach Main Library at 303 North Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 or the Redondo Beach North Branch at 2000 Artesia Blvd., Redondo Beach, CA 90278.  Certificates will also be available for purchase the day of the Dolphin Dash at the Chalk Art Festival on the Pier.
