Former Redondo Football Coach Now in Palisades

Redondo Union High School graduate Tim Hyde has taken a post at Palisades Charter High School.

A former Redondo Union High School football coach is now coaching the sport at Palisades Charter High School, according to Pacific Palisades Patch.

Tim Hyde, a 1989 graduate of Redondo Union and captain of the 1988 football team, joined the Pali High team this year. He previously worked at Crespi High School, and before that, he was a co-defensive coordinator for linebackers at El Camino College.

In 2006, he helped the El Camino Roadrunners win the state championship, defeating top-ranked San Francisco City College and finishing in the No. 2 spot nationwide. Hyde, 41, helped El Camino win the conference championship in 2007.

He has also coached at Mary Star of the Sea High School, Los Angeles Harbor College and South Torrance High School.
