Winners of team challenges—including ones for the most participants, speediest and best spirit—weren't immediately available.

The race starts at Pelican Cove at Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes and runs by Wayfarer's Chapel and through Palos Verdes Estates, including Lunada Bay, Bluff Cove and Abalone Cove. More than 600 runners finished the half-marathon, while 280 finished the 5K, according to results posted online. Half-marathon runners ranged in age from 12-83 years old, while 5K racers were ages 5-72 years.

This is the 47th annual race produced by the Kiwanis Club of Rolling Hills Estates; however, until 2012, the race was a full marathon. Last year, the Kiwanis changed the event into its current incarnation as a community fundraiser with a half-marathon and 5K due to high traffic control costs.
