Redondo Man Completes 14th L.A. Triathlon
Jason Gabelsberg finished 280th overall, while Chris Foster took home fourth place.
A Redondo Beach resident is one of only 14 men who have never missed the Herbalife L.A. Triathlon.
Jason Gabelsberg, 41, of Redondo Beach has competed in all 14 L.A. Triathlons over the years, according to a tweet from the triathlon's official Twitter feed.
In Sunday's triathlon, Gabelsberg finished 280th overall, but placed 13th in the Clydesdale division for heavier athletes.

In all, 15 Redondo Beach residents ranging in age from 16 to 48 finished the triathlon.
Chris Foster, 31, took fourth place in his division and overall, while Justin Bruner, 16, placed first in his division and 304th overall. Adrienne Riedel placed 140th overall and third in her division. Travis McDonald placed third in the Clydesdale division and 168th overall.
