Redondo Woman Wins Manhattan Beach 10K

Nathalie Higley takes first place in the women's division and 29th overall.

A Redondo Beach resident took first place overall among women competing in the Manhattan Beach 10K at the annual Hometown Fair.

Nathalie Higley, 43, finished the race in 37 minutes and 35 seconds, beating out 1834 other women. She finished in 29th place overall. 

Manhattan Beach resident Susan Hoffman, 52, finished second overall in the women's division, while Hermosa Beach resident Meagan Costello, 32, finished third.

In the men's division, Tito Lezama finished first overall with a time of 32 minutes and 29 seconds. San Pedro resident David Rosales, 21, finished second, and Manhattan Beach resident Matthew Miller, 26, finished third.

More than 3,600 runners competed in the 10K race.
