Surf Report: Attention Small Wave Enthusiasts

High tide: 3.9 feet, 9:42 a.m. Low tide: 1.9 feet, 2:20 p.m. Water temperature: 59-62 degrees.

Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report.  Well, if you like the small stuff, then it's calling your name—you're not going to find much action in this neck of the woods!

We're starting off with some nice and clean conditions early on, with a pretty minimal dose of energy out there.  There's mainly minor south-southwest swell and basically no northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is making for some pretty weak lines, with a few that'll get you going on a log or a fish.  Most Redondo Beach spots are seeing ankle- to thigh-high waves, with the focal points pulling some waist-high waves.

Checking the tide—at 9:42 a.m. it pushes to a 3.9-foot high before dropping to a 1.9-foot low at 2:20 p.m. If you're planning on paddling, a 3/2 mm full suit is ideal with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 62 degrees. Good luck out there!
