Surf Report: Bring Out Small Wave Gear
Low tide: 0 feet, 8:14 a.m. High tide: 4.2 feet, 3:18 p.m. Water temperature: 57-58 degrees.
Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report.
Well, I wouldn't make it a priority to paddle; we're still seeing mainly small surf, with the occasional playful wave out there.
The conditions are starting off fairly clean. We've got a mixture of mostly southwesterly swell and some minor leftover west-northwest windswell in the water. That recipe is making for some crumbly, broken-up lines, with a few fun ones. The small wave gear is probably your best bet.

Most Redondo Beach spots are seeing knee- to waist-high waves, with those standout breaks pulling some stomach-high sets.
At 8:14 a.m., the tide dropped to a 0-foot low, which will have several spots in need of water and pretty inconsistent early to mid-morning. The tide then climbs back up to a 4.2-foot high at 3:18 p.m.

If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 mm full suit, with the water temperature still hanging on the cold side between 57 and 58 degrees.
