Surf Report: More Small Waves

Similar small surf on tap!

Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report.

Well, if you like the small stuff, it might be worth grabbing a session at some point during the day.

We're seeing some nice and clean conditions from the start, which is making the water a litte more inviting. There's a combination of some minor south-southwest swell and a touch of northwest windswell in the mix.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some crumbly section-y lines, with a few fast shoulders. Most spots in Redondo Beach are running about knee- to waist-high, with the occasional bigger set.

At 5:27 a.m. the tide pushed up to a 4.0 high, which could have some spots a little slow early on. The tide then drops to a 0.5 low at 11:45 a.m., climbing up again to a 5.1 high at 6:25 p.m.

If you're going to grab a session, a 3/2 fullsuit will do the job, with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 60 degrees. Good luck out there!
