Surf Report: More Weak Waves
Low tide: 1.3 feet, 11:38 a.m. High tide: 4.7 feet, 6:23 p.m. Water temperature: 59-61 degrees.
Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, you're not going to find much energy along this stretch of sand—we're looking at mostly small and weak surf out there.
The conditions are starting off pretty clean and glassy early on. As far as the waves go, we have a minor mix of mainly northwest energy and some minimal south-southwest swell in the water.
That recipe is providing this part of the coast with some soft, sectiony lines, with a few workable ones on the small wave equipment. Most Redondo Beach spots are running about knee-high, with the top combo breaks pulling some thigh- to waist-high waves.

Taking a look at the tides—at 5:51 a.m., the tide climbed up to a 3.3-foot high. It drops to a 1.3-foot low at 11:38 a.m., pushing up once again to a 4.7-foot high at 6:23 p.m.
If you're planning on getting in the water, a thin fullsuit will do the job, with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 61 degrees. Good luck out there!
