Good Monday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks as though most of this stretch of coast is being blocked by the latest round of energy. Overall, we're seeing mostly small energy along this stretch of sand.
We're starting off with some pretty clean and glassy conditions, with a combination of some south-southwest swell and minimal northwest windswell. That recipe is making for some fairly soft, sectiony lines, with a few workable one on the small wave gear.
Most spots in Redondo Beach are running about knee- to waist-high, with the focal points pulling an occasional plus set. Checking the tide—at 8:50 a.m., it climbs up to a 3.1-foot high before dropping to a 2.2-foot low at 12:59 p.m. The tide will push up again to a 5.4-foot high at 7:31 p.m.

If you're planning on paddling, a thin full suit is plenty for that morning session, with the water temperature averaging between 63 and 64 degrees. Have fun out there!
