Surf Report: Small, Crumbly Lines

Low tide: 0.4 feet, 6:46 a.m.; 2.1 feet, 7:01 p.m. High tide: 4.3 feet, 1:23 p.m. Water temperature: 66-68 degrees.

Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, we just can't seem to snap out of this small spell, so I probably wouldn't make it a priority to paddle!

The conditions are looking fairly clean, but some spots are seeing some texture on it early on.  As far as the waves go, we have that minor mix of northwest windswell and a touch of southwesterly energy in the water.

That recipe is offering us some crumbly and textured semi-wally lines, with a few workable ones. Most spots in Redondo Beach are seeing knee-high waves, with the focal points pulling thigh-high waves, with a few waist-high sets.

Checking the tide—at 6:46 a.m. it dropped to a 0.4-foot low, which will have some spots in need of water early on. The tide will push back up to a 4.3-foot high at 1:23 p.m. before dropping again to a 2.1-foot low at 7:01 p.m.

If you're planning on paddling, a short-sleeved full suit or spring suit will do the job for that morning session, with the water temperature averaging between 66 and 68 degrees. Good luck out there!
