Surf Report: Still Sleepy

Low tide: 1.3 feet, 7:44 a.m. High tide: 4.3 feet, 2:42 p.m. Water temperature: 65-68 degrees.

Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's still pretty sleepy out in the Pacific. Unfortunately, it's looking like another day of small and dumpy dribblers along this stretch of sand.

The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with the same mixture of minimal southwest swell and minor northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some fast and sort of walled lines, with a few workable ones on a small wave board of some sort. Most Redondo Beach spots are running about knee- to thigh-high, with the focal points pulling a few plus sets.

Checking the tide—at 7:44 a.m., it dropped to a 1.3-foot low. It will push up to a 4.3-foot high at 2:42 p.m. If you're going to grab a session, a spring suit is the call with the water temperature averaging between 65 and 68 degrees. Good luck!
