Surf Report: Waves on Small Side

High tide: 3.5 feet, 10 a.m. Low tide: 2.1 feet, 2:31 p.m. Water temperature: 58-59 degrees.

Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report.  Well, you're not going to find a lot happening out there today.  We're seeing mostly small energy along this stretch of coastline.

It's starting off pretty clean and glassy, with a mixture of continued fading northwest wind and groundswell and some new minor south-southwesterly energy starting to fill-in.

That recipe is providing some fairly soft, sectiony lines, with a few workable shoulders. Most spots in Redondo Beach are seeing knee- to waist-high waves, with the focal points pulling an occasional bigger one. You'll definitely want to get out a small wave board of some sort!

Taking a look at the tide—at 10:00 a.m. it pushes up to a 3.5-foot high before dropping to a 2.1-foot low at 2:31 p.m. If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 mm fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 59 degrees. Good luck out there!
