Surf Report: Waves Uninviting

High tide: 3.4 feet, 10:05 a.m. Low tide: 2.2 feet, 2:23 p.m. Water temperature: 64-66 degrees.

Good Wednesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's not looking very motivating—there's not much energy along this stretch of sand.  So, unless you like the really small stuff, I'd probably pass on paddling.

The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with some spots seeing a little texture on the surface. Taking a look at the waves—there's some minor remnant south-southwest swell and some tiny northwest windswell out there.

That recipe is offering some weak sectiony lines, with a few that'll get you going on a log or a stand-up paddleboard. Most spots in Redondo Beach are seeing knee-high waves, with the focal points pulling a few thigh-high and higher waves.

Checking the tide—there's not a lot of change out there today. At 10:05 a.m., it climbs up to a 3.4-foot high before dropping to a 2.2-foot low at 2:23 p.m.

If you're planning on paddling, throw on no more than a short-sleeved full suit or even a spring suit, with the water temperature averaging between a nice 64 and 66 degrees. Good luck out there!
