Sharefest Seeking Workday Project Applications

Schools and nonprofit groups with a beautification project can submit their applications to Sharefest for its 11th annual workday.

A local organization is seeking beautification project applications for its 11th annual workday in May.

Sharefest, which is based in Torrance, has helped schools and other organizations across the South Bay on its annual workdays. This year's is scheduled for May 3.

"We are now accepting beautification project applications from schools, cities and nonprofit groups in the South Bay and L.A. Harbor areas and invite you to join us in identifying the top needs in our communities," the organization said in an emailed statement. "Once we receive and select projects, we will work to find a volunteer organization to adopt your project. Help us make a lasting difference in our communities!"
