Monday Essentials: Waterfront Revitalization

Here's what to look forward to this week in Redondo Beach.

Happy Monday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know this week:

  1. The Redondo Beach City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday to discuss CenterCal's plans to redevelop the harbor area.
  2. Mysterious Galaxy bookstore on Artesia Boulevard in North Redondo Beach is hosting a Girl's Night Out (but not just for girls!) on Thursday night. Attendees can do some holiday shopping and meet local authors. The cost is $35; for more information and how to RSVP, check out the Patch calendar.
  3. Thinking about buying or selling your home? Ryan Scarzone has the local real estate market report.
  4. Missed any news last week? Check out our weekly recap of the top news in the South Bay.
  5. Today's photo of the day was uploaded to Flickr's Creative Commons collection by Jason Hullinger. Want to submit your own photo of the day?
