The Office's numerous responsibilities include: overseeing the strategic plan, city budget, capital improvement and performance measurement programs; monitoring federal and state legislative activities and providing policy recommendations to Council; overseeing cable television franchise and coordinating telecommunications facilities agreements; and implementing the E-government Strategic Plan to insure rapid and efficient deployment of online government services.</p> <p>City Manager Bill Workman has served Redondo Beach since 2005. He has worked in the public management field for over 30 years and demonstrated his exceptional expertise in pubic finance & building, organizational development, environmental protection, economic development and strategic planning.</p>
