Under the leadership of Aaron Jones, planning director, the Planning Department consists of the Planning Division and…More the Code Enforcemen Division. The Planning Division is in charge of administering the City's long-range and current planning projects as guided by the adopted General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. Meanwhile, the Code Enforcement Division takes care of the City's Zoning Ordinance and Building Code.</p> <p>The Planning Commission meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.</p> <p>The Planning Department also overseas the Historic Preservation Program in order to encourage the protection of the historically significant landmarks in the city.</p>
