<p>The Agency has contributed vastly to the redevelopment of the public buildings, such as the Main Library and the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, through the state tax increment financing program.</p>
<p>The Agency currently has three project areas: Aviation High School; Harbor Center; South Bay Center. It meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.</p>

<p>The Department manages 14 parks in the city (Alta Vista, Anderson, Andrews, Aviation, Czuleger, Dominguez, Franklin, Fluton Playfield, Lilenthal, Perry, Seaside Lagoon, Veterans, Vincent, Hopkins Wilderness) and community facilities including, the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, Knob Hill Community Center, Historical Museum and the Veterans Park Community Center.
