Happy Tuesday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know today: 

  1. Today is the first day of classes in Redondo Beach Unified School District. The Redondo Beach Police Department has deployed new handheld stop signs for crossing guards and offered tips for safe driving around schools.
  2. The RBUSD Board of Education will hold its first meeting of the school year tonight at 6:30. The agenda is available online.
